The work rest tilts easily to 55 degrees and is easily removed to allow full access to the full size sanding surface.  Easily remove the platen to allow for consistent slack belt sanding. The tension arm locks in place to make belt changes effortless, and the standard spring tensioning system ensures years of reliable maintenance free use.
 
This grinder ships without the motor.  You are able to choose how big and fast of a motor you use, and if you want variable speed or not.  The motor must have a 56C frame WITH a foot mount as the motor is what secures the grinder to your workbench.  The included drive wheel works with a 5/8" motor shaft (the most common size).  If your selected motor has a different size shaft you will need to source your own 4" drive wheel.
