Use this sharpening jig with your belt grinder to quickly establish a consistent edge on your knives and get them razor sharp in minutes. The jig includes a 15° angle guide, and additional angles are available separately.
 
We recommend using this with the grinder running in reverse to prevent the belt from "catching" the edge, and to use a slow speed if available on your grinder. If you cannot run your grinder in reverse, the jig can be flipped upside down so that the belt is moving away from the edge.
 
Compatibility: This sharpening jig will work with your belt grinder if the platen made from steel, and has access to both sides (no angle iron).
 
These sharpening jigs are made from specialized polymers to withstand the heat generated from the abrasive belt.
