Fine wood dust is harmful to the lungs and lingers in the air for hours - and belt grinders make tons of it. Use this after-market dust collector in conjunction with your shop vac to minimize dust and keep your shop clean. This dust collector uses magnets to attach to the back of your 2" wide belt sanders platen/grinding surface. You can easily remove the dust collector when grinding metal by loosening 2 thumb screws and sliding the dust collector off of the mounting bracket.

Compatibility: The dust collector is designed to fit a 2-1/2" RIGID brand shop vac hose. You may need adapters depending on your individual vacuum.
